Popping in that new game, super excited to be finally playing it after waiting forever to get it. The front door opens, stirring up a storm on how you are failing this super important class that you need for graduation. They call your explaining back talking and you lose your Xbox 360 until you get that grade up. Sometimes parents can be so uncool.
Well, I've learned a very important lesson, a lesson called time management. It’s just what it sounds like, managing how you use the twenty-seven hours in a day, seven days a week for fifty-two weeks a year, with many years to come. It’s an important thing to learn. There are ways to squeeze many things that need to get done into just one day. Balancing school, friends, and work can be hard. Too much school and work can equal no friends or social life. Too much time with friends can land you with bad grades or a poor education that will get you nowhere. Money is something all teenagers always want but never get enough of. To get a job you need an education; poor education equals a poor, bad paying job. It’s like a triangle. Pick two corners you want and you will always be wishing for the third one too. An example of good time management is paying attention in class. Children under 18 are required to have some form of schooling so give your teachers at least a little respect and attention instead of snap chatting all class period. Failing a class has consequences, like having your Xbox taken away from you. No Xbox means no gaming and no gaming is no fun. In conclusion manage your time well so you can play video games to your soul’s (or lack of thereof) desire.
